I’m a junior/ soon-to-be-senior at the University of Houston studying print journalism and history. Until recently, I spent nearly every minute outside of class writing or editing a story for The Cougar, UH’s student newspaper, where I was Editor-in-Chief. I started reporting and learning the basics of print design and AP Style at 14, and I’m proud to say I learn something new every day. Before graduating in May 2019, I hope to intern at as many news organizations and magazines as possible, adopt a cat and create positive change on my campus.
In summer 2018, I’ll be a multiplatform editing intern at the Houston Chronicle through the Dow Jones News Fund program.
